Piedras Blancas Lighthouse Peeking Out Of The Fog. When the tide is very low it is possible to get quite close to the iconic lighthouse without too much slippery rock walking.
About Lars Mikkelsen
Born in Denmark in 1948. After years of traveling I came to America in time for the Bicentennial in 1976. The first ten years in Hawaii, before settling here. My photography centers on my love for the natural world and the beauty of The Central Coast. We have so many wonderful hiking trails, small delightful towns and villages, secret beaches and remote hills. In winter the area will be richly green, as summer takes over our beloved hills turn to gold. It has been a great joy to be able to share my love of these places with others through photography.
